Lexia Core 5 is a great tool to increase students proficiecy in reading, vowel sounds, and spelling. We will be using this program all year and students will be required to spend 15 minutes a day using Lexia to improve their language arts skills. This quarter we are going over our first science unit on the human body. To help illustrate the different things we will be learning in science I will be using Brain Pop Jr. This site is animated and interactive. Students can even take a quiz on their knowledge at the end of a lesson.  Try using this tool at home to help refresh your child on what we have gone over that day.
